Create your first project
To begin setting up configurations, the first step is to create a Project.
To create a Project, you must provide the following information:
- Project Name
- Project Description
- Cloud Service provider (to choose a service such as AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Once the Cloud Service Provider is selected, the system offers options for Source Version Control Systems that includes
- AWS CodeCommit
Source Version Control System
Depending on the choice of the Source Version Control system, the user will be prompted to enter credentials.
For example, if the user wishes to create a Project using Github as the Source Version Control system, they need to select the ‘Github’ option from the list view.
In this scenario, we offer the option to input the “Repository Owner” if it is created for an individual or a Private repository. However, if the repository is associated with an Organization, the user will need to enable the option that asks for the “Organization Name”. This way, the appropriate authentication details can be obtained based on the project’s setup.
